LG announced a smart refrigerator integrated with webOS and Amazon Alexa. The fridge can automatically adjust energy settings, order groceries, keep track of food expiration dates, look up recipes, and more. (Source: The Verge)

Carrier Cor 5C Thermostat

Carrier’s new smart thermostats can now estimate savings off your monthly energy bill, create ideal temperature settings, and is integrated with Apple’s HomeKit with Siri, and Amazon’s Alexa. No pricing is available yet with the Carrier Cor 5C, however we can expect a lower price tag than their competitors from the Nest Learning Thermostat and Honeywell Lyric T5. (Source: CNET)

The world has finally met it’s most advanced trash can. The GeniCan automatically tracks what you’re throwing out to a digital shopping list, making it easy to buy or not buy items at the grocery store. LG unveiled the “Hub” smart robot that can play music, look up weather, control other LG appliances, such as preheating an oven and turning on a vacuum. The LG Hub can recognize faces and learn about their owners to carry on conversations. It features an animated face and swiveling body to look at whoever it’s talking to. (Source:
